Massonia aff. jasminiflora Burdach 11182 (near Addo)

Important characters for M. jasminiflora are the flower tube being about twice the length of the petals, combined with style and filaments that are relatively short. Compared with typical M. jasminiflora, this Addo material has spreading rather than upright stamens. The flower has a strong scent which lives up to the jasmine in its suggested name. There have been a whole bunch of new Massonia descriptions in the last few years, so perhaps this belongs to one of those?
