Conophytum hammeri MRO117 (Little Hellskloof)

A small nocturnal species that clumps up reluctantly. Flowers are always pale, but do vary in hue. It was originally discovered by Steven Hammer in the mid 1990s, who found it growing very cryptically in a patch of quartz. Matt Opel and others have subsequently investigated it in the wild and it is now known to occur more widely
