Conophytum pageae (Udabib hills, Namibia)

This species is common right through Namaqualand with a few outlying colonies in Namibia. Body size can vary from a few millimetres across to around 30mm and the sides and fissure can be the same colour as the rest of the body or they can be red-tinted. However, the leaves normally lack any spots. Flowers are nocturnal and scented and appear at various times from July to October depending on the plants' origins.
