Conophytum piluliforme

One of the few cono species that occur in the western Little Karoo. The above plant came to me with the old Bolus name of 'Brevipetalum' attached to it. Flowers are nocturnal and always have some sort of purplish colouration. It is sometimes confused with another small Little Karoo species: C. joubertii, but that always has whitish flowers
